“Would definitely recommend!”
+This place is fantastic!! We didn’t want to stay in tourist heavy Split, so we ended up in Slatine and I’m so glad we did. This property is in a great location, walking distance to the port, where you can easily get to Split and Trogir. There’s lots of great beaches on Slatine as well. Davor was the best host. We arrived from the airport at 7.30am because we had such an early flight. He let us into the communal kitchen, gave us drinks. And worked so hard to have our room ready 2 hours before check in. He was always up for a chat, and gave great recommendations. The property was clean and spacious. We absolutely loved it. One of the highlights of our trip.
−Be mindful, there’s no cabs on Slatine, and we didn’t rent a car (our mistake, we just didn’t think to). So we were a slave to the bus timetable if we wanted to go somewhere not walking distance. Buses only come every 1.5 to 2 hours, but as long as you planned your time it was definitely doable. You can also walk pretty much everywhere from this property but be aware Slatine is a giant hill 😂

+The apartment was fabulous - everything is of a great standard and is very comfortable. Davor is an excellent host. It's near to a nice beach and restaurants, and a perfect spot to stay if you need to be near to Split airport, yet it is a pretty quiet location.
−The parking is a bit of a challenge, but once mastered it's fine!

“It was great stay for holiday - highly reccomend!”
+Our stay at Buga Apartment was excelent! We had 2 bedroom apartment on the attic which was very spacious, clean and designed in lovely marine style. Very nice and comfortable. The kitchen was fully equiped, wa aldso had nice balcony with nice view. Mr Davor is a great host. He welcomed us with keys and drink, which was very nice. Later during our stay we had grilled fish together which was really unforgetable evening. I highly reccomend the place.

+Croatia and Villa Buga , love at first sight! ❤️ This was our very first trip to Croatia, and we can honestly say that we fell in love with this beautiful country from the very first day. We had always travelled to resorts with an all-inclusive system before, so at first we wondered whether we would miss it. But we quickly realized that we didn’t need it at all. The beauty of Croatia, the crystal-clear sea, the incredible nature, and especially the warmth and hospitality we experienced at Villa Buga made this holiday truly unforgettable. A very special and heartfelt THANK YOU goes to the wonderful owner, Davor. ❤️ He welcomed us late in the evening, helped us with our luggage, treated us to delicious homemade food and drinks, and throughout our entire stay he was always there to help, advise and make sure we had everything we needed. Davor treated us several times to his wonderful homemade wine, and even gave us a bottle to take home with us. He also surprised us with delicious freshly fried local fish. −We booked this apartment for a couple of days because we had severe sunburn and needed a cool place to recover. Unfortunately, the apartment was very hot when we arrived, had an unpleasant smell, and the air conditioner was not working properly. We informed the host immediately. Even after running for 2-3 hours, the temperature was still around 27°C, and the bedroom was even hotter. We asked the host to fix the problem or move us to another room, but neither happened. The first night was extremely uncomfortable. By early morning, the temperature finally dropped to 25°C, even though the air conditioner was set to 20°C. The next evening, after we had left the apartment for a walk, the host called us and complained that we had set the air conditioner temperature too low. When we returned, we discovered that he had entered the apartment without our permission, changed the air conditioner settings, and taken away the remote control. After that, the air conditioner cooled even less effectively. We consider entering the apartment without our consent and removing the remote control to be completely unacceptable. +Ubytování naprosto předčilo naše očekávání, čisté, prostorné, skvěle vybavené a velmi pohodlné. Majitel Davor je výjimečně milý a ochotný, kdykoliv připraven poradit či pomoci. Byli jsme moc spokojení a určitě se sem rádi vrátíme, pokud zvolíme opět Chorvatsko.
