“Not what I expected for the price”
+Has a nice garden and nice host
−well, a other guy wanted to enter the apartment as well, do the owner rented out this place twice at a time. I was not feeling safe and always took my laptop etc with me when I left. The owner is a cool guy but I want to rate fairly so no one else has this experience anymore.

−The landlord did not know about our arrival and did not expect us. It is older gentleman, does not use email. We called before arrival, he confirmed to us that if we booked via booking, it will be ok and we shall call after arrival to Kastav to obtain keys. In reality he could not find the booking in booking system, although we showed him confirmation from booking in email. We were second group with the same problem in 1 week as other guest told us. Capacity of rooms was smaller than stated in booking. Our friends had to sleep with 9 year old kid in their bed. Booking claims the room capacity 7 people - reality = 2 bed, 1 sofa. We made complaint in booking customer system, but they had no other accomodation for a group of 9 (2 families, 2 rooms) in the area. We did not need money back, we needed a place to stay. As kids were tired after long travelling and the apartments were free, we had to stay. The landlord was mad, chopped sheets on the bed in one room and left. we had to look for other sheets in wardrobes to help ourselves. The apartments were dirty. −Nekúrilo sa hoci bolo v noci 8 stupňov boli sme 9.4.2026, , klimatizácia ani nekúrila ani nechladila, domáci dal 1/4 kotúčika toaletného papiera na 3 noci, neboli uteráky, nebo hrniec iba 3 lyžice a 1 panvica, bojler v kúpelni tiekol po podlahe, inak izby skromné ale čisté

“Es waren sehr einfache Verhältnisse.”
+Luka ist ein sehr netter und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber, da vieles in der Küche fehlte, haben wir bei ihm alles holen dürfen, was wir brauchten. Der Garten mit den Baümchen ist sehr schön der Ausblick auch. Ein Konzum ist gleich in der Nähe .
−Leider war es ziemlich klebrig und dreckig in der Küche und im Bad. Wir bekamen anstatt ein Vierer Zimmer ein Dreier. Und dazu konnten wir selber ein Klappsofa von ihm runter holen. So war es halt schon eng. Die Küche war fettig und klebrig und nicht vollausgestattet. Deshalb mussten wir oft nachfragen. Er gab sich Mühe uns mit Gläsern Tassen und Kochtöpfen zu versorgen.
