“Exceptional comfort”
+This is a wonderful location and a superb very comfortable accommodation. We walked to the 3 chimneys for a fantastic dinner at the chief's table, definitely recommend looking in to this as a dinning experience.

+Most gorgeous setting and so peaceful.
−I honestly don’t have anything to be critical about. Maybe just the gravel path in the entry but that’s probably useful when the weather is all rainy and cold

“Your own secluded paradise in Skye surrounded by magical nature, away from the buzz of the tourists crowds.”
+Absolutely tasteful and elegant design and inner decoration, the large windows make one feel surrounded by Skye’s magnificent nature (they even offer a telescope aimed at a little islet where Seals sunbathe when the tide is low!). The hosts Caron and Iain truly go above and beyond any expectations, even spoiling us with some tasty food items, which helped a lot since it’s a self catering lodging. Above all, Caron and Iain are truly warmhearted people who immediately made us feel in a very special place. An Clamhan manages to make one feel in one’s own secluded little paradise even when Skye is teeming with tourists. We loved everything honestly.

“Stunning escape in luxurious accommodation and beautiful, natural and peaceful environment”
+Stunning location, beautiful interior with thoughtful, stylish designer touches. Helpful and friendly owners made the effort to meet and greet us and left us wine, ales, milk, bread, smoked salmon, cream cheese, and more which was welcome after a long journey.

“We loved our time on Skye and An Clamhan made a great home base.”
+The location/views were beautiful and the property had everything we needed plus more. We appreciated the telescope to watch the seals and birds. It was a great stay!
−The bed was a little uncomfortable but that is most likely personal preference.

“Wonderful cottage with wonderful hosts”
+Caron and Iain were wonderful. We felt immediately welcome and at ease. The holiday cottage had everything one could wish for,and more. There was even a telescope available, which we used to watch the seals. Everything was clean; it was a fantastic base for exploring Skye. It’s a shame we were only there for three days. We would book again anytime.

“This is the best place we have stayed in Scotland over the last few years.”
+Self catering, some eateries closed during our stay and options were Michellin Star level restaurants needing to be booked well in advance, but hosts had been generous with stocked food items. This place is exceptional; had stayed before on Skye in other apartment and thought it was excellent, but this one is even better.
−The weather was poor and surprised that many places were closed over the weekend and Monday as stay was middle of May, but this is the nature of Skye not the accommodation which was needed.

“Just cosy and wonderful”
+This accommodation was perfect. It was cosy to spend a rainy day in, lovely to spend some time in the garden when the sun came out, a fantastic bed, easy to charge your electric car if necessary. We would have loved to be able to just have a full day of chilling here in stead of heading out to discover the gorgeous island (and that says something). The view on the water was amazing as well! We saw seals every day and even spotted some dolphins!!

“Can’t recommend this property enough!”
+Our stay truly couldn’t have been better! The views were amazing, the house was so lovely and comfortable, kitchen was well stocked with all the highest quality cookware and cutlery you could possibly need. Very comfortable bed, furniture, linens, etc. Great location too. Caron and Iain were wonderful hosts as well, so kind and welcoming. Thank you for our lovely holiday, and we can’t wait to be back soon!
