“A small treasure in the hills”
+This place is a little gem. It's not that easy to reach but then you have the sense of real privacy and seclusion. The cottage is in a group with some others, but it faces away from them and the property is designed so that you have privacy on the front terrace and a secluded rear terrace that is more sheltered. It's a small traditional house, beautifully designed and decorated with a real sense of style. One thing we loved the most was that there are 2 sofas, meaning that me and my husband could have one at the same time. The view from the terrace is lovely, and although a new construction further down the valley blocks the best part of the ocean views, there are still nice views of the surrounding hills, which look spectacular in the late afternoon light, and there are glimpses of the ocean and beautiful Tholaria up on the hillside. One of the best aspects of the cottage would have to be Marco, who was incredibly friendly, always available whenever we needed anything, and who gave us great recommendations for places to eat and visit. And he helped us carry our luggage back up to the car (it's a 300m walk uphill). Lagada is very small but there are a few places to eat, although we
−The bed is very small, which meant my husband (who is 180cm/6ft) had to sleep diagonally in order to fit on the bed. It wasn't so much of a problem for us though as the 2 sofas in the living room are single bed size and I just slept on one of those at night. Marco brought us an extra set of bed linen. The kitchen had what we needed, except a proper bread knife would have been good.

“Amazing stay in Langada”
+We had an amazing stay at Alonistra houses. Marco was an excellent host, very friendly and helpful, with great recommendations. The location was beautiful with stunning views right on the doorstep. The apartment was very comfortable and clean. I'd highly recommend to anyone coming to Amorgos/Langada.

+Beautiful houses on a beautiful plot in Lagkada, created and decorated with taste and soul by an excellent host, Marco, who makes his guests feel at home and is ready to give special tips for every corner of the island. The next time we visit Amorgos, we would definitely book again without looking for any other alternative.

+Alles war rundherum perfekt und hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Ein wunderbares kleines Haus, herrlicher Aussenbereich, ein sehr hilfreicher Gastgeber. Totale Ruhe, schöne Wandermöglichkeiten, gute Restaurants und eine gute halbe Stunde zum Strand. Was will man mehr!

“Eine Oase der Stille und Weite”
