“Perfect weekend getaway in Como”
+Cute little one bedroom, one bathroom. Perfect for a weekend stay! Easily walkable to the historic center of Como. The staff who operated the suite worked at a near by coffee bar and were very attentive & communicative to our needs.
−Just some directions on how to use the washer for foreigners!

“Great location & gorgeous suite”
+The facilities in this property were amazing, very spacious with cooking & cleaning facilities, also in a very central location about 10-15 mins walking distance from the centre of Como. Sara & Alex were very responsive, polite & friendly! Would highly recommend this if staying in Como

“If you don't mind the hike up the hill, this is a very comfortable and quiet place to stay in Como”
+The apartment features a big comfy bed in a totally quiet part of town. The soundproofing, A/C/, WiFi, and bathroom are all 100%. You will not hear a sound here, so if you want a totally restful sleep, you can hardly do better. The hosts were very responsive by email. Tea and coffee are offered gratis, a nice touch. The apartment actually is near the center, merely up a hill.
−The climb up the steep hill (5-10 minutes) did make me sweat and made hauling up the luggage arduous. The system for paying the local tax could be simplified. When I said I just wanted to give them the small change (9 euros) in person, they agreed. The owner owns a small bar in town, so that is the way to go for sure!

“Perfetto hosts”
+Amazing place to stay. The bed is comfy and the place is kept clean. It has the smallest washing machine I've ever seen but very useful to backpackers. Sara, Alex & Lori at Bar Duomo are such lovely friendly hosts. I got lost in a thunderstorm whilst arriving and they kept me calm and talked me in. So close to the city centre. 100% recommend 👌
−The only drawback is the steps from the Duomo level up to where the flat is located. But that is because I have a knee disability. Anyone fit will have no problem at all.

“Great host and excellent location in Como”
+The apartment is very spacious, comfortable, and well designed. It has been thoughtfully redesigned by an architect, which is reflected in the smart and functional layout. There are two separate areas: a living space with a small but practical kitchen and access to a quiet, discreet garden area, and a second area with a bedroom and a bathroom featuring a large shower. The washing machine is conveniently located in a small corridor next to the bathroom. The bed and pillows are very comfortable, making for a great stay. I would definitely recommend this apartment and would happily return. A helpful tip: Bar Duomo (where Alex works) is located in front of the Como Duomo church. From there, it is the easiest way to reach the apartment, as the street runs in a straight line from the Duomo.

+Vieta netoli centro, tad lengva pasiekti Como ežerą ir patį centrą :) patys apartamentai neblogi, nieko įspūdingo, bet atitinkama ir kaina. Šeimininkai malonūs, šauni registratūroje dirbanti mergina.

“The fabulously cosy place and with the best host!”
+Cosy small apartment where everything is well planned so it becomes an “all you need” facility even if it is small. The host/hosts are amazingly kind and helpful.
−Nothing unless you don’t want to walk uphill which we didn’t mind and rather thought was a nice thing since it’s a very quiet part of Como

+La gentilezza del personale è qualcosa di fuori dal comune. L'appartamento è molto bello con un piccolo giardino che è veramente romantico. Se mai la vita mi portasse di nuovo a Como, Alex Suite sarà la mia prima scelta.
−Più che non piaciuto direi scomodo. La doccia, anche se spaziosa, non ha una porta scorrevole bensì una porta a tutto lato che si apre verso il dentro. Se si è voluminosi come me si fa un po' di fatica a chiuderla 😅.

+La Alex Suite si trova nel centro Duomo ed appena si scende giù ci sono tutti i mezzi per raggiungere altre destinazioni (traghetto, battello, ecc.) come le varie stupende ville.
−Il materasso e i cuscini erano un po’ duri e non comodissimi per dormire. Visto che eravamo al piano terra c’erano vari insieme che entravano in casa, ma fortunatamente c’era uno spray insetticida lì da poter utilizzare. La Suite è situata tra le colline; muoversi a piedi tra salite e discese può risultare un po' faticoso. Tuttavia, c'è l'opzione del autobus 5 per spostarsi verso il basso.
