“Light comfortable flat in a great location.”
+Great location. Flat was light and comfortable. It had everything we needed in it and a lovely view to the sea and beach between the roofs from the open living area.

−The communal area was really scruffy. There wasn’t anywhere to wash sand off your feet before entering the building. The carpet in the communal area was therefore sandy and dirty. An outside tap like other properties would solve the problem. Experienced some noise from apartments at the back of the property.

“At Home in St Ives”
+First of all, many thanks to Lynne, Meg and the whole team at Cornish Escapes! We always had all the information we needed at the right time. The communication was very good and fast. Due to a train strike we had to arrive a day earlier than planned. As the flat was free we were able to get into the flat a day earlier, with the help of Booking.com customer service and the team at Cornish Escapes this booking change was done in no time! The Cornish Escapes team made a very professional impression from the start, which gives you confidence that after a 14 hour journey you will find everything as expected late in the evening (The fact that the beds were made was a plus!). About the flat, it is exactly as described and shown in the photos. Everything you need is there and everything works. We really appreciated the supply of coffee, tea, milk and sugar provided and that the kitchen and bathroom essentials were there to start with. The location is great, quiet but only a few minutes walk to the harbour with many restaurants/pubs and shops. Porthmeor beach with 2 Restaurants is just around the corner, also a small shop with essentials is close by. We felt at home in the flat right from t

“Perfect location for beach and town”
+Exceptional location in old part of St Ives with Porthmeor beach a short walk down the slipway next to the cottage. Town with a large selection of restaurants and shops a short walk away. Sea view was restricted as advertised but still could be seen from the dining room table and bedroom. Apartment was excellent with everything you needed for a comfortable stay.
−Shared entrance a little untidy but that should be expected from a sandy beach close by. Parking could be a problem, but we managed to find a place in the Island car park and left it there for the rest of our stay.

+Die Lage ist toll! Nur ums Eck und man ist am Strand und auf der anderen Seite eine Gasse runter und man ist am Hafen. Dies hat uns sehr gut gefallen.
−Da wir die Unterkunft nicht gefunden haben, kam nach einem Telefonat sehr schnell eine Angestellte und hat uns hingeführt. Vor der Unterkunft kann man nur zum Entladen halten, jedoch ist 50m vom Haus ein öffentlicher Parkplatz. Dieser ist kostenpflichtig.

−Pas fait pour 5 personnes. Il n'y a même pas 5 chaises pour être à table ensemble. Chambres un peu petites
