−Beautiful place however, I did not receive any instructions prior to arrival on how to get in so needed to call. There were no instructions in the house. When we went out, we left the key in the door on the inside - which we needed to get out- and could not get back in. Not having door like that in the states+ having more than 1 person staying there it was an easy accident. The host said we had to call the locksmith ( interestingly the number is posted on the outside of the door) and pay $60 to open it. She refused to take any responsibility for lack of instructions. Also, apparently a mouse had gotten in to the apt and poison was put out. We found the mouse dead on the couch.

“Comfortable place to stay in the heart of everything.”
+Loved being so close to the water and the town. Also loved the patio with the grape vines covering half of it. It meant we could relax in the shade while still enjoying views of the ocean.
−The only downside to this property is the location trade off. While it is as central as you could get, there is a bar downstairs that plays very loud music all night long. That said, it is a trade off. I wore ear plugs and got through it and was happy to make the sacrifice to have such easy access to the water and everything else.

“A wonderful place to stay!”
+Everything except the ladder up to the two single beds.
−The ladder needs a handrail at the top, to help you climb up onto the floor, and to stop you accidentally falling down the stairs. My friend was not able to use the room. We both found the ladder too difficult. When my children came they had no problems with it as they are young adults. We are older.

“Katastrophe , nicht zu empfehlen”
+Insgesamt gar nichts
−Lage komplett falsch angegeben, liegt mittendrin zwischen Restaurants und Bars, nicht wie bei booking eingezeichnet am Anfang der Fußgängerzone . Übel laut bis 3:30 Uhr in der Früh, an Schlaf nicht zu denken, weil eine Bar quasi direkt unterhalb der Wohnung liegt. Eine Müllhalde incl Gestank direkt vor der Tür. Der angeblich tolle Ausblick ist nur wenn man nicht atmet und den Strommasten vergisst und nicht nach unten schaut. Wir haben nach 2 Tagen den Aufenthalt abgebrochen. Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter nicht vorhanden, warte seit Tagen auf eine Antwort. In der Küche stinkt es nach Abfluss , Toilette war dreckig bei Ankunft , Betten sind mega unbequem und niedrig , alles in der Wohnung fühlt sich feucht an. Selbst auf Beschwerde bei booking keine Reaktion Wie es zu den ganzen Bewertungen kommen kann ist mir vollkommen unverständlich.

−Wegen der Lage oberhalb der Partymeile abends oft laut.

−Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter, als das Wasser für einen Tag ausfiel, war nicht gut. Die Sicht von der Terrasse fiel auf delie Müllberge der Kneipe davor.
