“Perfect weekend getaway with the girls”

“Acceptable”
+The beds were comfy, clean bedding. The camp site was quiet. It was a good size space for a large group to stay. Good size garden and a hot tub.
−Ok, I was honestly surprised by the booking.com 9 star rating. Usually the ratings are pretty spot on. I would say this property is more a 7.5. The hot tub: hot in the morning, cold by the evenings. No soap in the toilets. No toilet roll holders. The downstairs toilet inside was out of order. Not enough mugs and plates for a house that sleeps this many people. The kitchen drawer under the hob was very dirty. The floors were dirty. I forgot my slippers, within 10 mins my socks were black. The place just felt like it needed a good deep clean. The bathrooms in particular have lots of water marks all over the white rock walls/ sink drawers. The main big bedroom has a locked door, presumably storage? This banged all night. The sitting room is fine, chairs and sofa are comfy, but some of us had to sit on the floor and not enough seats.

+The location was great for us, not far to travel and the walk around the camp site was nice and the Liverpool Leeds canal.
−The bird poop all over the back of the garden was a bit disgusting.

“Very very disappointing and frustrating”

−The hot tub was not heating up to a temperature that it could be used. We paid a lot for one night for the hot tub to be not heating up. This is the second time this has happened to us very disappointing for us all. We put the first time down to a glitch But second time was unforgivable this time Also staff not very helpful when we asked about them sorting it out When one lady came to try and sort it she mentioned she has been asking the company to try and sort heat pump out Which reading between the lines means this is an ongoing problem that has not been fixed

“Relaxing home away from home”
+Loved the house, so many games and things to make it feel like home. Was so much better than I expected. The beds were very comfy. The hot tub was amazing. Such a quiet location as well considering how many people are on site. It was such a relaxing stay, wish it was longer
−Loved it all! We couldn’t figure out how to turn off the hot tub, think it must just stay on constantly but spent a lot of time trying to figure it out and googling it.

+The cottage was very big with everything you could think of there. The outside area was very secure for kids, with garden furniture and a hot tub. There were towels and little box left with tea, coffee,milk etc..plus a dish sponge and liquid.. We only needed to fetch food everything else was there. It was very quite and relzxing.
