“My family and I would definitely like to stay again.”
+The views were amazing when it stopped raining. The accommodation was well appointed and my brother and his family also enjoyed the holiday too.
−It would have been better if the hot water went off at 11pm instead of 10.30 as those of us who took evening showers had to add an extra hour onto the programmer. The instructions for the cooker etc were in a file in the sitting room, it would have been better if this file had been on the counter in the kitchen as these were not found until the following day and I ended up having a cold pastie.

+Exceptional property, very comfortable. Loved the conservatory overlooking the Loch. Beds very comfortable.
−Key box difficult to operate. Perhaps update the cooker.

“Gorgeaous cottage in gorgeous location”
+Absolutely gorgeous cottage with wonderful views and really comfortable beds. In a great quiet location that was an excellent central point to explore Skye The cottage was roomy with the sun room adding an extra quiet area to enjoy the fabulous scenery. The bedrooms and beds were rally comfortable with comfortable mattresses and the bathrooms again well set up. We really enjoyed our stay here.
−The cottage was let down by the cheap kitchen utensils that just bent when you use them and the knives would not cut red hot butter. It was a shame when everything else is well appointed but maybe we are different because we like to cook for ourselves as a family in the evenings?

+View from the sunroof exceptional, you will spend a lot of time in it, the sun can be overpowering when it comes out if in it though. Well equipped clean comfortable cottage. A bit isolated so take plenty of supplies. The heating and hot water are on timers, but you can press a boost button on the hall controls which gives you an hour of what you need. Very warm when the heating on. Good location to explore skye. Note it has bath in the hall bathroom but no plug to put in to take a bath, also the water pressure is very good so if getting a shower take it off its hook and turn on 1st to set otherwise it will go everywhere. Plenty of towels supplied. The bins are at the entrance bottom of the drive, you have to take any glass to the recycling station at the coop in Portree. Good communication from the vendor, the key safe is by the front door, the code will be sent prior to arrival.
−Midges and the rain- not that the host can do much about either. Would have preferred an air frier than a microwave more versatile and quicker plus cheaper to run than an electric cooker, but just a personal preference.

“Very comfortable house with great views”
+The house is very attractively and comfortably furnished and the view is outstanding.
−We had some issues wirh hot water but hosts responded fast Our only other issue was the rather dictatorial instructions around the house.

“I would highly recommend, particularly for central location, the views and being family-friendly.”
+This house was absolutely perfect for our family, particularly our 6-year-old and 1-year-old. They both loved the size of the property and it was great only being one level - very toddler-friendly! The views are stunning - the sky was incredible at night with no light pollution - and the location very central for visiting all that Skye has to offer.
−No negatives - we had the perfect stay at the perfect property.

+Most comfortable stay of our whole trip. Great out of the way location, quiet and peaceful. Good location for touring around the artist studios and for hikes around the north of Skye. Nice views of a loch. Cleanest stay of the whole trip.

“Paz absoluta si es lo que buscas”
+El paisaje es espectacular. La casa es cómoda y la tranquilidad es absoluta.
−Las sartenes estaban quemadas y el dueño no nos las cambió ni ofreció ningún tipo de solución. Para comprar hay que desplazarse lejos, a Portree. Y la casa no es fácil de encontrar, las indicaciones para llegar son muy mejorables.
