“Comfortable with an excellent sea view!”
+The view, out of the bedroom and lounge windows you could see Hoy and the top of the Old Man! You could also hear and see the sea and brilliant sunsets! The bed was very comfortable and a great shower.
−The kitchen was a bit cramped, but workable.

“A pleasant apartment for a short stay in Thurso”
+The apartment was clean, nicely decorated and well furnished. The bedroom was large and the king size bed was a real treat. The owner was very pleasant. The kitchen although very small, allowed us to heat up pre bought meals and the fridge was good. The view of the beach was just lovely
−No where to eat except sitting on stools with a pull down bench in the tiny kitchen. The location, despite being on the beach was not in a nice part of the town. The living room was very small but enough for two people to watch TV

+An immaculate staycation. Very efficient host. Location was incredible. Ease of use for all appliances which were of good quality. Heating and access to it was superb

−Payment. We booked payment upon arrival but we were pushed to pay before. We got an email saying we have to pay upfront. As we did not react to this email we were told that the booking will be cancelled if we do not pay at the same day.

“A lovely location on the Thurso waterfront.”
+Lovely location right on the water at Thurso. The range of facilities like stove, oven, fridge etc was good. The views were lovely and the apartment was warm and cosy. Parking out front included.
−Communication could be a lot better and help to personalise the experience. A simple welcome pack with what to do and what to expect, especially for those staying for a week or more as I was. i.e. where to eat, what to see, when the apartment will be cleaned (or whether you should clean it yourself), what to do with rubbish etc. It's a fairly standard inclusion and I was surprised it hadn't been thought of. A few additions to the apartment itself, like a broom, would also be handy. The managers were responsive but I didn't want to bother them too much and a few simple additions would mean you didn't have to.
