“Avoid this place.”

−I am really dissatisfied with this apartment. I would not recommend this place. We arrived earlier than our planned check in, we were told the apartment was still being cleaned.so me and my friend went to eat, then we were rushed to get back to the apartment to collect the keys. On arrival trying to settle in, it was clear the place had not been cleaned properly. The trash was still full in the kitchen and in the bathrooms. There was no toilet paper in the bathrooms either. We then discovered there was no water running. After contacting the owner, we received multiple excuses as to why the water was not running. The first excuse was the apartment where the apartment was not used in a while, so he had to contact the water company to have them switch back on the water. The water did eventually come but was periodic. The second excuse was that the building shared a communal water tank. The apartment looks great in pictures, but it looks like it's falling apart in reality. Also, we were misled that there was parking available, and we were lucky to find a private parking lot nearby with space, which we had to pay for.Also, for some reason, the balcony was flooded. −The location of the apartment was very hard to find, and not as per the location specified in booking.com. Only 2 rooms were given to us despite being a 3 bedroom listing; one of the given rooms was a kids room where the cot could not support adult weight. Had to ultimately put the mattress on the floor and sleep. The apartment was extremely unclean. No towels, shower gel provided. There was no water supply as well until we informed the host about it. The host was unfriendly and not willing to support.

−It was not a clean appartment. We found a lot of cigarets in the livingroom.. no papper toilet,,no liquid soap, both the toilets not cleaned,the fridge also not cleaned, no water in the morning till 7.30.But there were 3 bedrooms and wifi and the location was good, near the church.Sorry but we did not have a good stay.

“Accommodation where I would not return”
+The apartment is big and close to the city center.
−Unfortunately, the apartment was handed over to us in an unclean state, which we discovered only after the owner had left. It was really dirty from previous guests, including the bathrooms and trash in the bin (cigarettes, alcohol). I have never experienced anything like this through Booking.com before. Although I informed the owner, he offered no solution or discount, so I had to clean the apartment myself. Additionally, the apartment gets very hot in the summer. Parking is free but if you can find a spot on the street (no private parking).

+Great apartment, super clean, very spacey rooms and comfy beds. The host was very responsive and friendly. Will stay again here if visiting Shkodra again.
